About Us

Our Story

Named after the legendary bird, PHOENIX PARAGLIDING Ltd is a commercial tandem operator with official registration in Hong Kong providing paragliding services.

All our pilots are overseas experienced and internationally licensed with the Association of Paragliding Pilots and Instructors (APPI), they have passed local exams with HK Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) and obtained permits to run commercial Tandem flights.

Our company is managed by Senior Pro Tandem Pilot Krish RB, an ex-Gurkha soldier who served in Hong Kong with the British Forces.  With more than 12 years Paragliding experience, Krish has an in depth knowledge and first hand experience of all paragliding sites and conditions, along with Hong Kong’s hidden trails.   Krish is right at home in the beautiful countryside of Hong Kong with his wealth of knowledge acquired over 15 years from his early military service, when maintaining the Sino-Hong Kong Border, as well as participating in and organizing charity events such as the “100KM Maclehose Trail” (now renamed “Oxfam Trailwalker”).

We pride ourselves on providing safe flights with the utmost attention and care given to our passengers.  For us, security and safety always come first and that is why each flight is only carried out when the weather conditions allow for SAFE AND SMOOTH SKY GLIDING.  Committed to the internationally established APPI rules and principles of tandem paragliding, we approach each flight with maximum concentration and carefulness.  We will only ever use high quality, certified equipment, which is checked & maintained regularly per each individual manufacturer’s specifications.

We are committed to providing a high level of professional service and feel a great sense of achievement when our passengers are fully satisfied with the excitement and joy of free flying over the beautiful terrain and countryside of Hong Kong.
